Help Heal Share

Help heal share

What comes to mind when you think of the words help, heal, share? I can tell you what it means to the members of BattleForged Nation. It’s hopes and fears, times of togetherness and those times alone, brother and sisterhood. Yes, before BFN QRF launched no one knew how fast it would take off or even if it would work. In a year we have helped 93 veterans off the edge, several of those now volunteer their time as members of the staff. It hasn’t been an easy road at all, we have had a complete overall of staff, to bringing new Board members on and filling the roles of BattleForged Nation the Organization and within the Quick Reaction Force we have moved several people around, created new programs and new spots within just the QRF to help our brothers and sisters.

Step 1: Helpwe are there 24/7 365 days to help a brother or sister in need, we have partnered with law Enforcement around the country to help veterans in need.

Step 2: Heal you can’t heal alone you have to have a support system and that’s where the supportyou get from BFNcomes into play. We stay next to you and help you along the way. Our follow up team follows up with you as long as you need them.

Step 3:Share, after your back on your feet and stable and your ready you can share with everyone what happened. We have found that most people who come to this point want to helpothers so they don’t feel the way they did.

Number one thing that every veteran worries about is being forgotten. Why is it that when we were down range or in training did, we have each other’s backs, but then we got a piece of paper that says dd214 and we forget our brothers and sisters?

I  personally looked in all the wrong places to find that family again, I found it right here with BFN, both in the organization and in the QRF.

If you are hurting, feel, lost, or you are just missing that family of the Military then give BFN a try. The national page we hold for Red Star Clusters (veterans in need), the state pages are there to share stories, meet up with others and also for cases in those areas too.

If you want to know more check out our website www.battleforgednation.org go through look at the board, the QRFleadership everything you’d want to know is there. Very soon once our 501 goes through our financials will be on there and also our store will be on there where you can order BFNGear.

We can’t do it alone though. We need your help to spread the word- especially with the holidays coming people feel alone and need others to talk with, we are there. Our Vision is

BattleForged Nation(BFN) began with a group of seasoned combat Veterans who made it their new mission to attack the tragic trend of Veteran suicide with the same fervor they targeted evil in combat.  Veterans in BFN’s volunteer force identify Veteransexhibiting key risk factors leading to hopelessness and suicidal ideations. Immediately intercept them, and walk alongside the veteransto resolve the crisis. Where we can HELP them in crisis, lead them to any resources needed so they can HEAL and ultimately enable them to SHARE their victory with others who have faced similar battles.

The QRF’s mission The BattleForged Nation Quick Reaction Force(QRF) is a team of Veteran Volunteers who serve as “first responders” to emergent situations where a Veteranis at imminent risk for suicide — to include identifying and addressing circumstances that are setting the climate for such a risk to be imminent. These situations require immediate action to prevent loss of life, to secure the Veteran’s well-being, and to conduct a risk assessments for further intervention.
